Course Description

This course will introduce students to the anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system, the purpose of performing an ECG, the proper placement of leads, how to perform an ECG using various types of equipment, and basic ECG interpretation.

Students will also learn about the holter monitor, its use and function, and patient care instructions.
