Course Description

Course Objective

The purpose of this course module is to educate the learner about the common cardiac health conditions affecting the geriatric population.

Upon  completion of this module the learner will be able to:

• Describe common cardiovascular changes in the aging patient.
• Describe common heart conditions that affect the aging population.
• Describe common risk factors of the aging client for cardiovascular conditions. 
• Discuss preventative measures for heart health.
