Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to educate the learner about pulmonary health conditions and issues affecting the elderly population.

Upon  completion of this module the learner will be able:

• Describe common changes that occur in the pulmonary system of the elderly person.
• Describe common pulmonary conditions in the elderly population.
• Discuss nursing interventions related to pulmonary system conditions.
